About us
At our home on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast, we raise exceptional dogs and puppies in a loving, family-focused environment. Every dog is part of our daily lives — sharing in our adventures, from catching waves on a surfboard to curling up under a blanket for movie night.
We are deeply committed to the well-being of our dogs and to the future of the breed. We’ve carefully imported dogs from around the world to New Zealand, helping to improve and diversify the gene pool.
As a registered DOGSNZ (Kennel Club) breeder, we take a holistic approach to breeding and raising our dogs. Our focus is always on the betterment and preservation of the breed, producing puppies that are happy, healthy, and well-balanced in both body and mind.
Life here is full of enrichment and fun. We participate in a variety of activities — from conformation shows and obedience to agility and trick titles — all of which showcase our dogs’ abilities while strengthening the bond we share with them.
Our dogs aren’t just pets; they are cherished family members who bring endless joy, warmth, and love into our lives.

Why Tauriel? 🌿✨
When it came time to name my kennel, I wanted something that carried strength, beauty, and meaning. Tauriel, the fierce and fearless Woodland Elf maiden from The Hobbit movies, felt like the perfect fit.
She is loving yet protective, beautiful yet formidable, and unafraid to stand her ground. Her loyalty and courage mirror the qualities I admire in my dogs — companions who are brave, intelligent, spirited, and deeply bonded to their people.
Tauriel was also a new character, created right here in New Zealand, adding a touch of homegrown magic to a world-renowned story. To me, she represents women’s strength — capable, independent, and powerful, without losing compassion or grace. And we can’t go past those proud Elven ears — alert, elegant, and full of character.
Thus I named my kennel Tauriel — brave of heart, loyal beyond measure, graceful in form, and fierce in their love. For here, in their bright eyes, proud ears, and bounding steps, the spirit of the Woodland Maiden lives on. 🌿✨
